Four members of the MARIO team attended a workshop funded by The Brocher Foundation in Geneva to discuss and debate the issues of importance for connected healthcare robotics.
The workshop, attended by 19 participants, from 6 different countries, had a number of themed panels, presentations and interdisciplinary discussions with participation from the MARIO attendees. Aimee van Wynsberghe, and Noel Sharkey, co-founders of the Foundation for Responsible Robotics, and Heike Felzmann from the MARIO project facilitated the workshop sessions.
It is anticipated that the outputs from the workshop will include a policy briefing document related to the issues of concern for connected robotics.
