Ortelio was invited (8-9 November, Birmingham, UK) as one of the UK’s most innovative companies to present MARIO project at INNOVATE 2017, UK’s leading innovation event!

 
INNOVATE brings the brightest and boldest of UK innovators together to share, excite, and inspire businesses, individuals and governments to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. During the event participants had the opportunity to interact with MARIO robot and to test the MARIO applications.
 
Moreover, Ericsson invited MARIO partners to present the MARIO robot in the #5GNow event in London, UK (31st October 2017) and in Brussels, Belgium (29th November).

Using 5G and cloud robotics technology, MARIO can communicate with dementia patients offering cognitive assistance, geriatric assessment and companionship. During the opening of these events, MARIO was on stage and interacted with the speakers.
