MARIO Project will be there!
We are planning to organise a Special Thematic Session (STS) as part of the scientific program and based on accepted papers. This shall allow us to attract experts in the area of robots for dementia domain that are interested in presenting their work and also come up with synergies and post-MARIO project follow up activities.
Four members of the MARIO team attended a workshop funded by The Brocher Foundation in Geneva to discuss and debate the issues of importance for connected healthcare robotics.
The ICT forum is an annual event that attracts interest from both industry and academia and has a clear applications- and services-orientation, is co-organised by the Competence Network for Information Technology to Support the Integration of People with Disabilities (http://www.ki-i.at) and the Integriert Studieren Institute of the University of Linz, Austria.
University of Passau team has attended the Annual Conference in July 4 and 5 2017, and presented the MARIO project and the challenges of bringing robots to the improve the life conditions of patients with dementia.
Dr. Dympna Casey delivered a presentation on MARIO at the 'Living Well with Dementia in Rural Ireland' Conference in Co. Galway on Monday 29th, May.

On Friday 26th of May, MARIO attended a Dementia Research Education Advocacy in Motion (D.R.E.A.M.) coffee morning at Croi House.
D.R.E.A.M is a national non- profit / charitable movement run by people with dementia for people with dementia.
