On May 8th, the MARIO Project team held an Open Day, in the Clinical Science Institute, Galway. NUI Galway staff and students, as well as practitioners within the health and care sectors, had an opportunity to meet MARIO and hear about our project.
Members of the MARIO team were on hand to demonstrate his controls and showcase his applications, e.g. News, Music, My Family.
The Health Research Board - Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB-TMRN), based in NUI-Galway, will host the Schools Teaching Awareness of Randomised Trials (START) competition on Friday, 19 May.
At this event the students will be given the opportunity to meet MARIO.
On March 8th, MARIO attended the Integrated Care Approach to Frailty in the Older Person Conference in the Clayton Hotel, Galway.
The conference was hosted by The Nursing & Midwifery Planning Development Unit HSE West/Mid-West in conjunction with Directors of Nursing, Older Persons Services, CHO2 & CHO3. MARIO was demonstrated to a multidisciplinary audience.
